Hows this for a crazy idea...
Hi All,
I am wondering if anyone would be keen on coming to a concert in the USA.
Now before you call me crazy, check out some of the clips from this link.

Rage Against The Machine reformed to play the Coachella festival. It was their first gig in 7 years.
They may or may not do a world tour, but I don't want to risk it. I reckon RATM are our generations Rolling Stones or The Beatles or whatever...
The festival is called Rock The Bells - http://www.rockthebells.net/index.html
I am thinking of going to the NY show cos I have never been there before but I think the SF line up is better... San Fran is awesome though and I will happily go there again.
I don't know how long, but I was thinking of going for but I was figuring about a week and a week and a half on the ground and we would need to add 3 days for flights.
A quick search shows flights on qantas for around these dates is about $2200 to San Fran and about $2300 to New York.
Please let me know if you are keen. I am going to buy my festival tickets today. I am actually going to buy 4 tickets incase people change thier mind.

if you think that rage is this generations rolling stones, your a fucken idiot! a stupid little rich latino screaming about fucken mexicans trying to cross the boarder. Yeah i can see how rage is like rolling stones!
You are right anonymous, I am a fucking idiot. You know what, I haven't even seen The Rolling Stones perform live, but I am stupid enough to try and compare Rage Against The Machine to them. I reall hope to see The Stones one day though.
I mean, what was I thinking? Shit, they didn't even make the Rolling Stone Magazine top 50 bands of all time (http://www.rollingstone.com/news/story/5939214/the_immortals_the_first_fifty/) or even into the 51 to 100 list (http://www.rollingstone.com/news/coverstory/the_immortals)
How could I possibly think that Rage Against The Machine are one of (if not THE) best live shows for people born between the late 70's up until this day? How many bands come close? Have you ever been to one of thier shows?
How could I possibly have rated them my #1 live band of all time?
They showed an intensity on stage unlike anything I had ever experienced before, and I can assure you no band has come close since.
Sure it was from when I saw them back in 1996. But I was just a dumb young impressionable kid right?
Like I said, it is bands of our (my?) time. Which bands would you compare to the stones in terms energy on stage during a live show?
The themes and lyrics of their music are as powerful and relvant today as they have ever been. If not more so.
Who is your top band? I am honestly curious... I am not going to dis it or try and make some sort of wise ass come back, I honestly want to know what other people think.
Regardless, it is a personal opinion, so it is unlikely that it is going to change anyone lives.
Sure, I may be idiot, but like I said, you are an ignorant racist and I really do feel sorry for you :(
